And so I haven't talked on the LJ in awhile.

For the past week I've been jogging 30 minutes everyother day and weight training for 10 minutes too. The scale shows that I haven't done a bit of good, but my body feels better, so I say See ya! to my scale, I think its broken anyway, I weighed myself one night, 160 and I was really happy cause that would have meant I achieved my summer goal early, but the next morning. In hours it was about 11, it read 171.5. I don't think I gained 11.5 pounds in 11 hours while SLEEPING.

Tuesday went to turn in my application to Panera. Was told to come back Wednesday at 3:30 for an interview. I did. Got there about 25 minutes early. Went to the counter ordered a green tea and told Mary (the cashier) that I was there to meet with Patrick (the manager). She told him I was there and said it was no charge for the green tea. Yay! Free green tea! Well anyway....

Waited in the employee seating, I was there early I was fine....a little impatient by about 3:25 but that's my nerves for you. Well the guy from their fire alarm provider came to see Patrick as well, apparently it was time for their monthly fire alarm test. That took Patrick a little while. I was okay. Apparently they forgot to notify the fire company that they were only testing that day. So after about an extra 10-15 minutes running around (might have been shorter but it felt like forever) Patrick finally sat down to interview me. My dad was absolutely right about the first (and only) question he would asked, "Why do you want to work for Panera?", my dad gave me other questions, but wasn't asked them. And then it wasn't really an interview, it was like he was just telling me how the job would be once I was given my hours. So in one week from now I'm to call the number on Patrick's business card to get my hours. Yes, the point of this story is, I got a job. (And yes Julia, I do believe my red "Kentucky Fried Chicken" polo probably did help, even though every employee was wearing balck pants that, and I walked in with the khaki that apparently had been Tuesday's pant colour.)

Driver's Ed is going well, I'm getting out on major roads and not messing up too badly. I have this problem with maintaining my speed. I go too slow, but it feels really fast even if its only 35 mph.

Friday in Health we watched "Super Size Me", I felt so naucious during and after. Definately a well done documentary, but ugh. I really was not up to Driving right after it.

Friday: Did parking for the fair and RH Singers. Zach Ott is highly amusing. We were up at the "toll sign". Katie, you and Amy are the only graduated singers who weren't cheap. "Sir" (why is everyone calling him that?) Patrick Horn just sped through, and Mike Chesterton stopped and "pretended" to pay Zach, but he didn't pay at all. Then someone on their way out in a blue car screamed and Zach thought I'd been hit, and I was just startled because my mind was being numbed at that point. At first I thought it was Mike Chesterton, but he passed us later. But the best thing about Friday night, a guy got arrested for possesion of coke. Some lady he had hit sped past us and told the safety patrol there that he had hit her and was carrying cocaine. (This is what I've been told, I saw the arrest and the lady speeding up to the saftey officers.) And then some idiots from school decided to have a fight, and the safety officers also reprimanded them. Very amusing.
But seriously WHO BRINGS COKE TO THE MONROE COUNTY FAIR? Which is GOING to be covered with safety patrols.

Saturday: Took tickets for the fair. Started off slightly boring, poor Mike kept having his time changed on him. He came to be working 5 to 9. He got to the gate to the Bus Demo. ring and was told to come back at 5:30. So he did so. Then right after he left for his post, the lady in charge of the Fair's tickets told Mrs. Soule that they didn't him until AT LEAST 6. So he was sitting at Geoff's and my station, aka the main gate. Then he left, then it began to POUR and POUR, and right as it was becoming minorly violent, the security guy told Geoff and I to go to the Dome where it was dry and safe. We got there just in time. So Mike met with us and we walked around in the Dome part of the Fair. Well after about 40 minutes we returned to our posts. About 15 minutes later the security guy came back. Apparently one of the venders was struck by lightning in the storm. Then we shut down at 9 so the Fair closed right after I left. I felt bad for the guys from school the tipped the best were the last to have to pay, after them the people in charge stopped charging because people wouldn't be able to do anything and they were closing in 20 minutes.
Oh yeh Saturday, got HP in the mail. My dad was more excited about it than me. I finished it today. It was definately better than the fifth book. I don't think I'll be ging spoilers anymore, but just incase....the person who dies didn't upset me the way I thought it would, probably because I was right that it was they who was the one to die.

Sunday: Was supposed to practice driving....but felt nauscious ALL day. I had to go to an Ice Cream social with my family, and I could hardly stand it. It rained more and I read some HP, but if I could've barf I think I would have been very happy to, but didn't and thus felt miserable.

Yesterday: Learned about K turns in lecture, but didn't really understand. Then while practicing, I HAD to make a K-turn. Because in the community around Crane there's this "dead end" that connects to the parking lot of guarding angels, well yesterday it was gated off thus really making the narrow road a dead end. Thus K turn ensued. I did it correctly, which was cool. And oh! My dad actually let me drive on Calkins for awhile, which considering my practically having to whine like a spoiled five year everytime I want to practice before he lets me, this was a big improvement. And talked to Nicole Cimminelli for the two hours I was stuck in the library deffinately cool.

Today: Health eh....Driving....I went on to a curb, my brain just wasn't there, everything I KNOW how to do seems to disappear when I step into that car, on at least when I sit in the Driver's seat. Er....Finished HP as said earlier. Went practicing with my dad, drove East Henrietta, Westfall, and S. Clinton, definately improving. Still nervous as hell though. But that comes with time I guess.

Now: To put away clothes and start health homework, and start AP LANG summer project. Technically I've started it twice, not the journal.

Unburying myself was interesting....hope you all think so to. (No I'm not stooping down to my annoying habit of y'all)

Congrats on the job and on driver's ed! Awesome! I saw Super Size Me; it was seriously disturbing and I'm vegetarian already and don't even eat at McDonald's! (Well, every few months when I'm on my period and have a craving, but that's it.) It just makes you want to eat yoghurt or something.

After seeing Super Size Me, which I absolutely love, I told my Dad that I refuse to eat at McDonalds. Wich will be until the day I die. And when we came back from vacation he still stopped there.

The sixth Harry Potter is beyond a doubt the best one. I cried at the end. I freaking cried. But probably because I didn't know anyone was supposed to die. Why am I not brushed up on my HP facts? Maybe because I don't visit fan sites like half the people I know. But I do know of one site that is actually run by J.K. Rowling.

Well I don't visit fan sites either. I just knew that she was going to be killing someone off this book, because like a lot of authors, once she killed one vital character off, she was bound to kill off another important character. I was just also right in my guessing that it would be Dumbeldore. I'm sad about it, but not as upset as I thought I'd be.

I don't know if its the best one, I still hold the third book in that spot. However its certainly better than her last two books. And I had to give a big cheer when I found out that Snape was the Half-Blood Prince, because I knew it before it said. I don't know how I did, but I did.

I don't know why but before the book came out I kept thinking Neville was the half-blood prince. Even though he's obviosly pure-blood.

True he is pure blood, but that would have been really cool too. I heart Neville. That was the only good part about the fifth book, Neville actually got a character that was sniveling.
